Delete your account

You can permanently delete your FurDial account and personal data at any time. This page explains how, and exactly what is removed versus what we are legally required to keep.

Delete from the app

The fastest way is from within the FurDial app:

  • Open the FurDial app and go to the Profile tab.
  • Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
  • Confirm when prompted. Your account and personal data are erased immediately and you are signed out.
This is permanent. Deletion cannot be undone. If you want to use FurDial again later, you will need to sign up fresh.

Delete without the app

If you cannot open the app, message us and we will delete your account for you after verifying your identity via your registered phone number:

Requests are actioned within 7 days, and usually much sooner.

What is deleted

We erase everything that identifies you as a person, including:

  • Your name, phone number, email and profile photo.
  • Your saved pets and their details.
  • Your saved addresses and location pins.
  • Your notifications, support messages and referral rewards.
  • Your login sessions (you are signed out everywhere).

If you are a FurDial groomer partner, your verification documents, bank details and service profile are erased too. Records of earnings already paid out to you are kept in an anonymised form for our accounts.

Your phone number is released, so you are free to register a new account with it in future.

What we keep, and why

Indian tax and accounting law requires us to retain records of completed transactions. After deletion we keep an anonymised record of your past bookings and payments, with your name, phone number, exact address and any notes removed. What remains is the booking reference, service, price, tax and payment amounts, and coarse location (city and pincode) needed for our books.

These records are held against an internal, de-identified marker rather than your personal profile, so they are not used to build a profile of you or to market to you. Separately, our payment processor (Cashfree) retains its own transaction records under its policies and the law; that is outside our control.

We do not keep your personal data for marketing after you delete your account. Only the anonymised, legally-required records described above remain with us.
